Easy honey soy prawn fried rice

This beauty takes 10mins to prepare and 10 mins to cook. It’s quick and easy and is super nutritious. It is a large serve, but low calorie and high protein so will keep you feeling fuller for longer.

Ingredients: 

  • 260 Prawns (raw peeled)
  • 50 (2 x slices) short cut bacon rindless, roughly chopped (fat trimmed)
  • 40g raw brown onion, roughly chopped  
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 150g Frozen stir fry vegetable mix
  • 125g sun rice cup (brown wholegrain rice)
  • 30ml Ayam honey & soy marinade and sauce

Method:  

  1. Brown onion and bacon in a saucepan over a medium heat or until soft.
  2. Once browned, add raw prawns, and cook for a few minutes until almost cooked through
  3. Add frozen vegetables & stir for several minutes ensuring both veg and prawns are cooked
    through
  4. Push all ingredients to one side of the pan and crack the two eggs in the open space. Let eggs cook
    through and scramble in the space then mix and combine through with the rest of the ingredients.
  5.  Add honey soy (or sauce of choice) and combine well insuring prawns are cooked through.
