We understand that our bodies can’t always keep up with the load we may have been previously accustomed to. However, with a significant number of women belonging to the status of perimenopausal, menopausal or post-menopausal we know it is imperative to plan a comprehensive health program tailored to them & their changing bodies and fluctuating hormones. Exercise is an integral part of the strategy and there needs to be a strong focus on maintenance of muscle mass, bone density, heart health as well as training for prevention of age-related risks such as osteoporosis. Exercise prescription includes resistance training, balance work, pelvic floor & core strengthening and every day functional movement and flexibility.
